We are glad you are here and hope to see you at one of our weekend worship services. Every week, we come together to connect, meet, and hear from God. No matter where you come from, your history, or experience…you will grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ at Gospel Community Rivermont.
We offer environments for kids and students on Sundays.

What to Expect

At GCR you can expect to be greeted warmly, offered a warm cup of coffee, and invited to stay and enjoy time in our facility for as long as you’d like. It is our goal to make every person who walks through our doors feel welcome.

Our services typical begin with a time of worship through singing. Our music includes contemporary worship music as well as traditional hymns. You may also experience a time of prayer, the partaking of communion, and a time of greeting one another.

Singing is followed by a sermon given by our teaching pastor, a staff pastor, or a guest preacher/teacher. We value Biblical teaching and believe in the authority, credibility, and power of the Bible. Visit Our Beliefs page for more information

Our gatherings also include a time of giving (which is optional and we encourage you to give only as you feel led). On a regular basis we also engage in communion, baptism, child dedications, and other ceremonies.

Most of all, you can expect a welcoming environment focused on worshiping Jesus, studying the Bible, Holy Spirit involvement, and growing closer to God.

What Should I Wear?

You can wear whatever you feel most comfortable in – anything from shorts to a suit (and you’ll see both when you join us!) Most of our congregation dresses casually, but we don’t get caught up on how someone looks. Everyone is welcome.

Where Do I Park?

We have parking available in a few parking lots (directly behind our facility and across both Rivermont and Bedford Avenues from our church building) as well as street parking around our building. Parking signs, as well as our First Impressions Team will be stationed around the campus to help direct you to an available parking spot.

If you choose to park on the street, we ask you pay extra attention to leave plenty of room for residents around our facility to come and go from their driveways easily.
