Ministry Residency at GCC

Partner with us as we develop leaders who last

As part of our mission to love God, grow in community, and reach out with the love of Christ, we take seriously the importance of leadership development. The video above shares testimonies about and an explanation of our Ministry Residency program. If you are also passionate about developing spiritual leaders to continue serving in the church in various capacities, then we encourage you to partner with us in supporting this work!

Donating Financially—For $30,000, we are able to train, mentor, and develop 4 to 6 ministry residents who actively serve at GCC during this dedicated year-long program. Select “Residency Fund” when giving online (click here). You can also give via $gcclynchburg on CashApp (Note: “Residency”) or by mailing a check made out to GCC and noting “Residency” on the memo line (Mail to 1301 Rivermont Ave., Lynchburg, VA 24504).
.
Providing Housing—Part of our vision for GCC’s ministry residency is to develop longterm housing for female and male residents as they complete their year of training with GCC. If you have an apartment, duplex, or a home that you would be willing to offer to this ministry, please reach out to us to discuss the options! Email info@gosplecc.org with “Residency Housing” in the subject line.

.

Joining in Prayer—We have complete dependence on the Lord and his leading to continue this program; join us in praying for the spiritual formation of our current residents, those who are applying, and those who will join in the future. Pray that the fruit of this residency would be ten-fold, that we would see God at work now and far in the future both here and around the world!

What’s the Residency About?  In light of our vision and values, we are committed to training leaders who last and are called into vocational ministry. We make room in our budget and our rhythms to walk alongside and train future pastors, missionaries, and ministry leaders. During the year long program, we share our lives, our resources, and our ministry experiences with the desire to see men and women assessed, equipped, and commissioned for lasting and fruitful ministry. The video above adds even more context and detail about the ministry residency.
