At GCC, you can expect to be greeted warmly and invited to stay and enjoy time in our facility for as long as you’d like. It is our goal to make every person who walks through our doors feel welcome.
Above all, you can expect a welcoming environment focused on worshipping Jesus, studying the Bible, and growing closer to God.

Our services typically begin with a time of worship through singing which includes contemporary worship music as well as traditional hymns. You may also experience a time of prayer, communion, or a time of greeting one another. Our gatherings also include an optional time of giving, and we encourage you to give only as you feel led.

Worship is followed by a sermon given by our teaching pastor, a staff pastor, or a guest preacher/teacher.  Our services average around 60 to 90 minutes in length.

We're family here.

Grab a free cup of Mission House coffee + stay awhile!

Our coffee area and our connection area is located in the Café, down the hall from our sanctuary. You are welcome to hang out here to chat, ask questions, and relax among friends!

WHERE SHOULD I PARK?

RIVERMONT:

1301 Rivermont Ave., Lynchburg, VA
We have parking available in several lots (directly behind our facility and across both Rivermont and Bedford Avenues from our church building). Street parking is available on multiple sides, and our  Parking Team can help direct you to an available parking spot and assist you in safely crossing Rivermont Ave.
If you choose to park on the street, we ask that you pay extra attention and leave space for our neighbors to safely exit and access their driveways.
COLLEGE HILL:

1101 Floyd St., Lynchburg, VA
We have parking available in two lots (one adjacent to 12th St. and one on Floyd facing the church building). Street parking is also available on multiple sides, and our volunteers will be present to welcome you at our main entrance.
If you choose to park on the street, we ask that you pay extra attention and leave space for our neighbors to safely exit and access their driveways.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

You can wear whatever you feel most comfortable in. Most of our congregation dresses casually, but no one will get caught up on how someone chooses to dress.

ARE THERE CHILDCARE OPTIONS?

We love families!
Kid City is our Sunday morning environment for children ages birth – 5th grade and is offered during all Sunday services at both locations.

Gospel Student Ministries (GSM) encompasses all of the events and environments we offer for students 6th – 12th grade. GSM meets during the 9 AM service  at our Rivermont location & the 11 AM service at our College Hill location.
